Martina Pesce
Epidemiologist
Dr Martina Pesce is an epidemiologist with a medical and public health background, currently working on OpenSAFELY. She previously served as an epidemiologist at the Argentinean Ministry of Health, where she contributed to the national COVID-19 surveillance and vaccine monitoring strategies. Martina’s interest focuses on utilising routinely collected data to address infectious diseases and reduce health inequalities. Martina holds a Medical Doctor degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, a specialisation in Epidemiology from the Argentinian Health Ministry’s Epidemiology Training Program, and an MSc in Public Health for Development from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
